“All Shook Up” is a musical comedy playing at the Pearl Theater June 17-July 10, 2016, featuring a number of songs made famous by Elvis Presley. It is based on the plot of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, takes place in 1955, somewhere in middle America, where one girl’s dream and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacketed, guitar-playing stranger help a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock & roll. (The Pearl Theater is an intimate 90 seat theater conveniently located less than 2 miles from the Shadow Creek Ranch area.)
“The 1940 Air Terminal Museum will have on display a temporary special photography exhibit featuring celebrities arriving to Houston between the years of 1939-1969. All of the photographs on display are from the Houston Chronicle’s archives and are being used with their permission. The museum ticket covers admission both to the museum and special exhibit.
