Envisioned by the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Pear-Scape Trail features artistic 4’ size fiberglass “pears” painted by local artists positioned throughout the City. The mission is to promote tourist related activity within Pearland in developing a public Pear Art Sculpture Trail as a cultural tourism attraction.
The Pear-Scape brochure is a complete guide to the painted pears featured on the Pear-Scape Trail.
This handy map details the locations, sponsors, and artist names for each Pear-Scape Trail sculpture design. Print from your computer, or visit the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau office for an official brochure.
Grab your phone, complete your tour across town, and post a #VisitPearland selfie with your favorite pear on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter to receive a congratulatory goodie-box from the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Follow the clues with one of three printable scavenger hunts to discover the pear sculptures across the city. Choose your own adventure at personalized skill levels, grab your camera, and begin the search for your favorite pear.
The installation of new pear sculptures on the Pear-Scape Trail is currently on hold as The Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau works to develop Pearland’s very first Cultural Arts Master Plan. The plan will help inform future arts-related initiatives in the city, including the growth of the Pear-Scape Trail project.
Visitors and residents will still be able to check in to the sculpture locations and redeem points for prizes from the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau.
