the 1940 Air Terminal Museum is just a short drive from Pearland.The 1940 Air Terminal Museum kicks off the 2015 Wings & Wheels series on Saturday, January 17 with a salute to Business Aviation.  Held the third Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the monthly series celebrates air travel.

January pays tribute to the role aviation has played in business. Visitors will see the beautiful Lockheed Lodestar an example of aircraft from the 1940s through the 1960s.   Food and refreshments are available plus visitors can enjoy a history presentation and aircraft exhibits.

The 1940 Air Terminal Museum is set in the original art-deco Houston Municipal Airport building at William P. Hobby Airport.  Visitors to the museum will find a showcase of air related memorabilia, static displays, and more!

The Wings & Wheels series is a fundraiser for the museum, ticket price includes: static aircraft tours, special programs in the Starliner Theater, museum tours, and admission to the museum.

The 1940 Air Terminal Museum is adjacent to William P. Hobby Airport and just a short drive from Pearland.
