The Pearland International Festival features live music on two stages, cultural dance performances, activities, international food and vendor booths, children’s entertainment and a kids zone. This year, Mexico is the spotlighted country. The Taste of Pearland VIP tent, co-hosted by the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau and Reflection Bay Event Center, includes tastings of wines and light bites from local restaurants.
The music lineup includes Mariachi Calmecac, The Willy Collins Band, Zydeco Dots, Galaxy Band, Walter Suhr and Mango Punch and Grupo La Calma.

The 4th Annual Juried Exhibition by the Pearland Arts League opens with an awards presentation and reception. Featuring works by 33 artists selected by Juror, Professor Matthew Linton of U of H Clear Lake. Artists from Pearland, Houston and the Clear Lake and Montgomery area submitted the works to be judged.

The 11th Annual Brazoria County Public Safety Cook-Off revs up a competition barbecue cook-off, a craft show, and live auction with proceeds benefiting the police, fire, and EMS services within Brazoria County. The event is free and open to the public. Since 2004, the event has been an International Barbecue Cookers Association Championship event. Barbecue plates will be available for sale.
