1.  Catch the final day of the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Cook-off on Saturday, February 28 from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. at NRG Park.  Just a short drive from Pearland on Highway 288, NRG Park is transformed to a pre-party celebration just before the official RodeoHouston events running March 3-22.

2.  The Downtown Houston Rodeo Parade is the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo’s salute to western heritage with a celebration on Saturday, February 28 beginning at 10 a.m.  The streets of downtown Houston are filled with decorated floats, thousands of men and women on horseback from the Trail Rides, marching bands, drill teams, and more at this popular celebration. 3.  Enjoy the Architecture Center Houston Walking Tour: Museum District on Saturday, February 28 at 10 a.m.  Located just a short drive from Pearland on Highway 288, the Houston Museum District is a pedestrian-friendly area filled museums, public art, contemporary architecture and landscape design.  This two-hour walking tour explores its beauty.  For tickets, go to aiahouston.org for more information.
