HOTMUSIC%20071Country music fans get ready for a two-stepping good time at the 8th Annual Tony Booth Day at Billy’s Hall in Pearland on
Saturday, May 2, 2015.  This year special guests also performing include the legendary Johnny Bush, Darrell McCall, Dottie Jack, Mona McCall, and Curtis Potter.

Booth is a four-time Academy of Country Music winner, three-time winner of the Academy of Western Artists, and Country Music Association of Texas Hall of Fame inductee. His greatest hits including Keys in the Mail Box, Cold Brown Bottle, Cinderella, Lonesome 77203, Don’t Call Me from a Honky Tonk.

Johnny Bush

Johnny Bush is a Texas legend born in Houston, Texas and best known for his distinctive voice and as the writer of Whiskey River, a top-ten hit for himself and Willie Nelson’s signature song.

Add music by special guests Darrell McCall, Dottie Jack, Mona McCall and Curtis Potter for an evening of traditional Texas honky-tonk style music at Billy’s Hall in Pearland.

Tony Booth Day at Billy’s Hall began in 2007 by chance when Booth was scheduled to perform at a venue in nearby Alvin only to find out days before the event about the cancellation by the owner.  Billy Griffin, Pearland resident and long-time friend of Lynn Brown, Booth’s manager stepped in to offer his place and a local tradition was born.
