Another weekend is upon us and, as usual, Pearland has lots to do!
Friday is a night for family fun at the Pearland ISD Livestock Show & Career Expo. Take the kids to the petting zoo from 5 to 8 pm, don’t miss the championship art presentation at 5:30 p.m. and enjoy the livestock show beginning at 6 p.m. at the Richard L Wagoner Agricultural Center on 4715 Bailey Road.

Spice up your weekend at the Pearland International Festival, which this year celebrates a fusion of Mediterranean culture and cuisine at Pearland’s Independence Park, Saturday, September 19 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Enjoy the live music, dancing, food, and even an olive pit spitting contest!

If you feel like trying a fusion of a different kind this Saturday, check out the “Fusion of the Arts”, 3:30 to 7 p.m. at 2341 Galveston Street. This event – put on by the Pearland Alliance for Arts & Culture (PAA&C) and the Pearland Arts League (PAL) – combines a juried visual arts exhibition with a presentation on the art of writing by Amazon Best Selling author and Pearland resident, Colonel Robert Sholly, author of “Young Soldiers, Amazing Warriors.”
And if you time your day just right, you can do both! Either way, have fun![/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
