As the fall weather rolls in, there’s never been a better time to get outside. So if you’re looking for some respite amidst nature, look no further than the Green Tee Terrace Trail. This brand new trail stretches 1.5 miles and is the first to connect Brazoria and Harris counties—perfect for bikers, hikers, and walkers alike.

The Green Tee Terrace Trail is designed to offer eco-friendly transportation and an open invitation to Pearland and its visitors to head outdoors and enjoy nature. Connecting with the surrounding neighborhood trails to commercial and retail areas, it’s never been easier to navigate the city by bike or on foot.

The trail has all the amenities you’ve come to expect: benches for relaxing, directional signage, and a nice shaded area along the way. And to top it all off, Green Tee has an impressive 250-foot pedestrian bridge over Clear Creek.

Green Tee Terrace Trail can be accessed from the north from existing trail systems in several neighborhoods. At the south end, a public parking area is located off Pearland Parkway at the Lowe’s Shopping Center near Chili’s Grill & Bar restaurant on Broadway/FM 518.

The trail is part of Pearland’s Trail Master Plan adopted by the City Council in 2007 to enhance the city by connecting people with the area’s natural surroundings. Two other Clear Creek Trail phases will connect the existing Shadow Creek Sports Complex and Nature Trail to the Lower Kirby District’s shopping and business areas and a future library on Shadow Creek Parkway. Some segments of the trails are currently under construction. For a map of Pearland trails, click here.

So get your bikes ready and lace up those walking shoes, because it’s time to get outdoors! Whether you’re training for a big run, completing your 10,000 steps for the day, or you just want to relax, visit Green Tee Terrace Trail and take in the sights and sounds of Mother Nature’s best.
