Official Registration Opens

TAAF Winter Games of Texas is returning to Pearland for the third year in a row on January 18-20, 2020. Sanctioned by Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF), the 3-day event is a sports festival created for Texas amateur athletes of all ages and skill levels. Interested participants can register for the TAAF Winter Games of Texas online now at TAAF.com/wgot2020.

Patterned after the Olympic Games, events include archery, basketball, flag football, gymnastics, karate, kickball, lacrosse, pickleball, powerlifting, soccer, softball, swimming and tennis. Events will play out at various venues throughout Pearland thanks in large part to a partnership with the Pearland Independent School District.

Pearland’s restaurant offerings include international cuisine and ethnic specialties. Texas specialties, particularly BBQ and Mexican food, are well represented.
