Local Pearland resident and business owner Obi Grant put the finishing touches on transforming a photography studio to an event venue in Pearland called Studio 100 in March 2020. Closures surrounding the pandemic began to occur just as the renovations were complete at the 2817 Miller Ranch Road #325 location.

Grant is hopeful event bookings will start to pick up for the 4,200 square foot space with restrictions being lifted during the re-opening phases announced by Gov. Abbott. Designed with a modern feel, the open, event space is perfect for a small wedding, birthday party, corporate workshop or event with up to 100 people.

“Pearland is the perfect location for a cleaner, refreshed event venue. We’re excited to provide something new to this area,” added Grant.

As a commercial photographer, Grant’s professional eye towards lighting is inherent within the design with dynamic lighting included for evening rentals. Party organizers have the the ability to upgrade the lighting with unique, gallery screens for special events. YouTube collaborators and photographers looking for photo shoot or video space have shown interest in Studio 100 as well.
