SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Pearland recently completed a two-phase renovation utilizing the newest design concept by Marriott to become the first location to roll out the latest brand concept.

Designed to appeal to the millennial generation, the 1820 Country Place Parkway location has transformed its 91 guest rooms during the initial phase and just completed finishing touches on the lobby restoration. The new lobby includes an open-concept design with a soothing color palette, seating with soft edges, aesthetically pleasing artwork and an overall more engaging space for guest interactions.

The breakfast area is expanded offering guests a bit more space to enjoy a quick bite before starting their day. The hotel’s meeting space has a fresh new look with updated seating, lighting, carpet and artwork. Providing over 1,000 square feet in two rooms, the space is perfect for corporate training and meetings.

“Our lobby renovation is my favorite part of the new look. It’s the first thing guests experience upon arrival, has a feeling of openness and offers a new functionality with its use of space – its more socially engaging,” according to Rushi Patel, vice president of operations for Omkar Enterprises Management LLC—the company that oversees  Springhill Suites by Marriott in Pearland.

Guests will appreciate new additions inside the hotel rooms as well, including new seating, desks designed for better work space, plush bedding, enhanced carpet, flooring, drapes and new televisions with Hub Media access.

“We’re happy to have a hotel management company which was able to fast-track this new, prototype design by Marriott and roll it out in Pearland,” according to Kim Sinistore, executive director of Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The SpringHill Suites Pearland is conveniently situated off Highway 288 and McHard Road (FM 2234) with easy access to nearby NRG Stadium, the Texas Medical Center and a short drive to Downtown Houston. Golf is literally around the corner with The Pearland Golf Club minutes away as well as the culinary scene flourishing in Pearland.

The property is a popular choice for many guests annually during the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo in February/March, Offshore Technology Conference in May, and will certainly be a popular choice during Super Bowl LI in February 2017.
