Pearland celebrates the grand opening of the Sports Complex at Shadow Creek Ranch in Pearland on Saturday, April 1. Located at 13050 Shadow Creek Parkway, the $10.1 million facility includes amenities such as lighted softball/baseball fields, turf field, volleyball courts, a playground paved walking paths, covered pavilion, concessions and an amphitheater.

The 65-acre park will provide an opportunity for Pearland to host regional, statewide and national athletic contests and tournaments for a variety of sports. It also has the capacity to host multiple tournaments/events simultaneously. It is the first of its kind for the City of Pearland and Parks & Recreation Department as an athletic provider.
