PearScape is being reimagined as a city-wide public art initiative—expanding how art is experienced across Pearland.
The PearScape Trail is an iconic symbol of Pearland’s cultural identity since its establishment in 2016. With 23 vibrant pear sculptures currently installed across 12 locations in the city, the program has successfully brought art into public spaces while celebrating Pearland’s namesake fruit in a creative and distinctive way.
Building on the original sculpture trail, this next phase celebrates and supports artists while inviting businesses, organizations, and individuals to serve as champions of the arts and contribute to the stewardship of Pearland’s public art landscape.
As we look to the future, the reimagined PearScape Program presents an opportunity to build upon this successful foundation while evolving the program to be more accessible to all community members.
The PearScape Program initiative aims to expand and enhance Pearland’s public art presence and provide new opportunities for community participation. By aligning with Goal 2, Item 2 of Pearland’s Cultural Arts Master Plan, this revitalized program will serve as a cornerstone of the city’s cultural identity and contribute to Pearland’s reputation as the destination for creativity in the Houston region.
The Pearland community is invited to be a part of the PearScape Trail Program!
Sponsoring a PearScape sculpture is an opportunity to contribute to a shared cultural experience—supporting artists while helping shape how Pearland is experienced by the community and visitors alike.
Sponsors play a vital role as champions of the arts, contributing to both the creation and long-term stewardship of public art across Pearland.
