The inception of The 1894 Podcast was inspired by the Hops and History cemetery tour, presented alongside Brazoria County Commissioner Precinct 3 Stacy Adams‘ office and Vallensons’ Brewing Company.
The event earned the Heritage Tourism Achievement Award from the Texas Independence Trail Region; a division of the Texas Heritage Trails Program under the Texas Historical Commission.
