Batter Up!  Pearland Little League is ready for its opening day celebration on Saturday, February 25 at the Pearland Area’s Dad Club, 6612 Fite Road, Pearland 77584. Opening ceremonies begin at 9 a.m. with the Challenger game starting at 10 a.m., rides and games will be open at 10 a.m. as well and exhibition games begin at 11 a.m.

Pearland Little League opening day is full of fun activities for children of all ages; including games, face painting, bouncy houses, ring tosses and much more. The day is designed to promote excitement for the kids and teaches them to be proud they are a part of an organization, a team, and a community.

The annual event celebrates the kids with a parade, exhibition games and an opportunity to thank sponsors.  Organizers anticipate attendance of 4,000 throughout the day as one of the largest fundraising events of the year .

Little League World Series legacy

Pearland Little League gives the community a great sense of local pride with the 2010, 2014 and 2015 teams gaining national attention during the Little League World Series.  A rich history of talent is part of Pearland Little League’s legacy with several teams winning State championships.
