The Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau announces it’s accepting applications through September 22, 2023, for the fiscal year 2024 Pearland Cultural Arts Grant Program. The Pearland Cultural Arts Grant Program provides funding from the hotel occupancy tax fund for projects that support cultural arts and fine arts in Pearland.
The Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau has managed the Cultural Arts Grant Program since 2013. Past projects of the grant program include the Puranava Indian Culture Festival, Pearl Theater productions, Pearland Lunar New Year, and Fusion of the Arts.
“The Pearland Cultural Arts grant program provides funding opportunities for unique offerings in Pearland,” said Tracy Rohrbacher, executive director of the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Many exciting arts-related projects and events funded by the program enhance our work to attract visitors.”
Applications are due by September 22, 2023, and grants will be awarded in late October. Grant applications will include programming to occur between October 1, 2023, and September 30, 2024, which marks the beginning and end of the city’s 2024 fiscal year.
Nonprofit organizations located within the city limits of Pearland are encouraged to apply and must meet eligible criteria to be considered. Funding is limited to a $6,000 maximum grant application. Learn more about the criteria of the program online at VisitPearland.com/Grant2024.
