TracyRohrbacher_smPicPearland Convention & Visitors Bureau Executive Director Kim Sinistore announced the addition of a new Marketing Manager.  Tracy Rohrbacher joined the newly created city department on October 9, 2013.

“I am delighted to welcome Tracy to the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau.  She has a well-rounded background in marketing and plays a key role on my team,” said Sinistore.

Rohrbacher brings with her many years of experience in marketing and advertising.  Primarily focused in the private sector, Rohrbacher has developed and implemented marketing programs utilizing traditional and digital components.  During her career, Rohrbacher has managed successful marketing programs with promotional ad campaigns, website development, event planning, and PR efforts.

In her new position, Rohrbacher will plan and implement tourism related marketing and advertising programs to promote business and leisure travel to the City of Pearland.

Tourism plays a significant role in the economic impact of the City of Pearland by bringing in $117 million in 2012 in visitor spending and $2.9 million in local tax revenues, which includes sales tax and occupancy tax. Tourism is one of Texas’ largest industries.
