The City of Pearland has hired Teri Mazhar as Sales Manager of the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB).

Mazhar brings over 20 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, previously serving in a leadership capacity as a Senior Catering Sales Manager for hotel properties in the Houston area. Mazhar earned her Bachelor of Arts and Science from Southeastern Louisiana University and has experience that spans an array of hospitality venues.

As the Sales Manager for the Pearland CVB, Mazhar will oversee sales outreach and develop partnerships for tournaments, meetings, and hotel bookings to drive business into Pearland.

“Teri is a great fit for our team with her extensive hospitality experience coupled with her local knowledge of the market,” said Tracy Rohrbacher, executive director of Pearland CVB.

The mission of the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau is to grow the local economy by attracting visitors to the City through marketing and tourism promotion.
