The City of Pearland has hired Rebekah Burns as Marketing Manager of the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB).
Burns joins the team with a blended background in both feature and entertainment writing, with bylines in notable regional outlets. She attended the Art Institute of Houston’s Digital Filmmaking and Video Production program, and graduated with her Bachelor of Applied Technology from Brazosport College.
Burns has over seven years of experience in social media management, and over four years of event promotion and organization.
“Rebekah is an important addition to the Pearland CVB team and will be instrumental in marketing our destination through recovery,” said Tracy Rohrbacher, executive director of the Pearland CVB.
As the Marketing Manager, Burns will assist in the promotion of business and leisure travel in Pearland through thoughtful and focused marketing efforts.
The mission of the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau is to grow the local economy by attracting visitors to the City through marketing and tourism promotion.
