The Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau (PCVB) has awarded a total of $18,000 in cultural art grant funds to three worthy, local arts organizations.

The Global Organization for Divinity, the Pearland Chinese Association, and the Pearland Theatre Guild are all beneficiaries of this year’s grant dollars. “The programming that these institutions provide encourages visitation to our city,” said Tracy Rohrbacher, executive director of the PCVB. “They each celebrate different facets of arts and culture in Pearland, and we’re proud to support them.” 

The city of Pearland’s Cultural Arts Grant is funded through the hotel motel occupancy tax and requires each recipient to participate in marketing, promotion, and activities that increase tourism to Pearland during the city’s 2023 fiscal year.
