The Pearland Livestock Show & Career Expo three-day event includes a lamb, pig, and cattle show as well as Culinary & Art categories Thursday, September 18 through Saturday, September 20.  The event is free and open to the public.  Visitors will enjoy a petting zoo, viewing of art, and livestock show.  The live auction takes place on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.    Last year, the show raised $75,000 in auction sales and scholarships.

Houston Vintage 2014 Preview Party, Market & Festival takes over at the 1940 Air Terminal Museum this weekend.  Guests attending the Preview Party on Friday, September 19 will be among the first to have access to the indoor vendors.  The Market opens on Saturday, September 20 at 11 am with a vintage car parade, vintage treasures, performances, food and drinks.
