Pear-Scape sponsors, artists, community leaders, residents and friends gathered for the Pear-Scape Send Off Celebration on Monday, April 24 at Grand Cornerstone Development in Pearland.

All completed, painted pears were on display for photos prior to their final installations along the Pear-Scape Art Sculpture Trail.  Envisioned by the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Pear-Scape Trail will feature artistic 4’ size fiberglass “pears” painted by local artists positioned throughout the City.

“We’re beyond thrilled to reach this milestone in the Pear-Scape project.  Pears will soon be installed throughout the City bringing pears back to Pearland,” says Kim Sinistore executive director of the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau.  Look for future information featuring a Pear-Scape Scavenger Hunt.
