Good Vibes Burgers & Brews, a brand-new coastal concept, is set to make its big debut by the end of the year in the current King’s Biergarten space located at 1329 Broadway Street, Pearland, Texas 77581. The Sitter Family officially passed the torch of the legendary space to Eric Nelson, owner and executive chef of Good Vibes Burgers & Brews on Sunday, November 29.

Hans Sitter, who currently owns and operates King’s Biergarten, and his son, Philipp Sitter, met Nelson several years ago at the family’s favorite restaurant, Number 13 Prime Steakhouse and Seafood, in Galveston where Nelson pervious worked as executive chef.

“We love the community element that King’s has built – and with our tiki-forward burger concept and being so close to the water, we wanted to create that same element of escape that the biergarten is known for by taking what they’ve done with their restaurant the last decade, and really moving it forward with a fresh, sustainable concept,” said Nelson.

With Nelson looking for the perfect space for his new concept, and Hans always on the hunt for an innovative opportunity, this seemed like the next natural fit for Pearland’s beloved biergarten.

“I knew I had to hand over our biergarten to someone who shared the same values and beliefs as a business owner,” said Hans Sitter, who will still frequent Good Vibes. “The Pearland community is something truly special, so we wanted to hand select the perfect concept that will be welcomed with open arms.”

Good Vibes will offer guests that feeling of being on a relaxing beach vacation where they can leave their worries at the door. With an abundance of natural light and a breezy ambiance, top-notch service and stellar menus, Good Vibes will become everyone’s next favorite escape.

Menu items

Future customers can expect a lineup of made-to-order burgers along with other offerings like the Fresh Tuna Poke Bowl with fresh Yellow Fin Tuna tossed with house made Ginger Yuzu sauce, cucumber, seaweed, sesame, and Tobiko Caviar, served with crisp wonton chips; Crab Cake served as a pan seared cracker crusted Lump Crab Cake with lemon aioli and arugula salad; Cajun Hot Chicken made with Good Vibes house Cajun spiced fried chicken thighs; The Good Vibes Signature made as a 1/2 pound RC Ranch Burger topped with smoked gouda, pepper bacon, Vibin’ sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickle, finished with a cheesy garlic bun, among other items.

In addition to specialty burgers, patrons can expect a spectacular raw oyster bar, fresh seafood dishes, a variety of shareables, a plethora of beers and exciting cocktails. Good Vibes will be kid-friendly, offering a delicious children’s menu as well.

Nelson, who has spent the past two decades in the food & beverage and hospitality industry, is excited to share his next venture with the community. He looks forward to attracting customers who enjoy quality cuisine and the journey of exploring a new restaurant.

Prior to Number 13 Prime Steakhouse and Seafood, Nelson worked for The RK Group in San Antonio and for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.

Good Vibes Burgers & Brews is set to open in winter 2020 – 2021. The laid-back burger and tiki joint are a duel concept by Chef and Owner Eric Nelson. The restaurant will occupy the former King’s Biergarten in Pearland (1329 Broadway Street, Pearland, Texas 77581).
