There will be two tree lighting ceremonies this year to kick off the Christmas Season in Pearland. On November 30, Pearland Town Center will host a tree lighting ceremony and other festivities. A week later, on Friday, December 6, the City of Pearland’s official Christmas tree lighting ceremony will take place at Independence Park. Both events are FREE, and everyone is invited to attend.

Photos with Santa! A Light-up Dance Floor! Fireworks! Come one, come all to the Pearland Town Center Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 30. The 3-hour event gets underway at 6:00 p.m. when Santa lights the tree and festivities begin. Following the tree lighting, a 3-minute fireworks display will light up the sky. Other festivities include photos with Santa and yard games around the Christmas tree, plus, virtual reality LED light-up swings and seesaw. Santa! Christmas Music! Let it Snow! A night of Christmas festivities will get underway at 7 p.m. when jolly Santa Claus helps Mayor Tom Reid light the City’s official Christmas tree in Independence Park. Holiday fun continues with performances on the Westside Veterinary Hospital Stage, and kids can enjoy snow play areas and snowy tubing hills in the H-E-B Winter Wonderland. The Free event ends at 10:00 p.m. Independence Park is located 3449 Pearland Parkway in Pearland 77581.
