The cooler temperatures and holiday season fill this weekend with plenty to do in and around Pearland.

The Pearland Farmers Market is the perfect place to pick up fresh ingredients for your Thanksgiving meal. The market will feature farm fresh eggs, local meats, lots of fresh baked breads, desserts, local honey, fresh veggies, crafts, & farm raised meats.

christmasartmarketThe Christmas Arts Market in nearby Friendswood is a 2-day event filled with fun for the entire family. Shop for original art and crafts and enjoy live entertainment and demonstrations. Activities include crafts for kids, face-painting, laser tag, family and pet photos for holiday cards, plus a Santa visit on Saturday (2:30 to 4:30 p.m.). Bernie’s Burger Bus will be on-site Saturday.  Gina’s Italian Cuisine will be on-site Sunday.

TXU Energy Presents Zoo Lights at the Houston Zoo. The annual holiday tradition includes larger than life illuminated displays with over 2 million lights. Carolers and performers are scheduled each evening.

Angleton Market Days fills the Brazoria County Fairgrounds with over 200 vendors offering a little something for everyone including vintage furniture, jewelry, and boutique items. This year the Salt Grass Antique Tractor Club will have an array of antique tractors on display. Free admission and parking.
