The Christmas Arts Market in nearby Friendswood is a 2-day event filled with fun for the entire family. Shop for original art and crafts and enjoy live entertainment and demonstrations. Activities include crafts for kids, face-painting, laser tag, family and pet photos for holiday cards, plus a Santa visit on Saturday (2:30 to 4:30 p.m.). Bernie’s Burger Bus will be on-site Saturday. Gina’s Italian Cuisine will be on-site Sunday.

TXU Energy Presents Zoo Lights at the Houston Zoo. The annual holiday tradition includes larger than life illuminated displays with over 2 million lights. Carolers and performers are scheduled each evening.

Angleton Market Days fills the Brazoria County Fairgrounds with over 200 vendors offering a little something for everyone including vintage furniture, jewelry, and boutique items.
