Lederhosen and dirndls are welcome as BAKFISH Brewing Co. along with Pearland House Concerts and the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau host Music to My Beers: Oktoberfest at The Pearland Town Center Pavilion,11200 Broadway St., Pearland, on Saturday, October 2 from 2 to 9 p.m.

The family-friendly outdoor event will feature live music from local performers such as Texas Country artist Scotty Alexander; Rock n Roll group Grifters & Shills, Americana sounds courtesy of Byrd Law and polka tunes from Oktoberfest Polka Band Enzian Baum.

Guests can sample fall and Oktoberfest-themed craft beer showcasing twelve Houston-area microbreweries including BAKFISH Brewing, Vallenson’s, Devil and the Deep, Backyard, Duo Winery and more.

Food trucks including Space City Spudz, Nacho Don and Rollie’s Frozen Custard will be on-site with Oktoberfest-themed menus. In addition, a craft business market offering fall and Oktoberfest themed treats will be onsite at the event.

A special event feature will be performed by acclaimed graffiti street artist GONZO247, who will be creating an original work of art during a live art installation. GONZO247 pioneered graffiti and street art culture as a leader of the alternative art movement in Houston and is the founder of Aerosol Warfare Studios, founder and producer of HUE Mural Festival, and founder of The Graffiti and Street Art Museum of Texas.

Event entry is free and open to the public, and tickets to purchase beer at the event may be purchased on-site or online through TicketLeap. With multiple brand hotels within miles of Pearland Town Center, visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and enjoy the festival responsibly.
