3. Architecture Center Houston introduces a new architectural tour of the Texas Medical Center on Saturday, March 14 at 10 a.m. The Texas Medical Center is the largest medical center in the world. Equivalent to the 12th largest business district in the United States, the TMC has 45.5 million square feet of patient care, education and research space. Join ArCH docents on this tour of Houston’s modern marvel of medicine. The Texas Medical Center is only a short drive from Pearland on Highway 288.

4. Explore the Battleship Texas with a Hard Hat Tour and behind the scenes look at this historic ship on Saturday, March 14. Visitors can view areas of the ship that have not had any restorative work for several years during the in-depth 3 ½ hour tour. Tours begin promptly at 8:30am, 10:30 am and 1:00pm. A limited number of spaces are available, reservations are required. Tours offered for a minimum donation of $50 per person.

5. Fitness enthusiasts can join the 12th annual Seabrook Lucky Trail Marathon on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15. The popular race is held on Seabrook nature trails surrounded by the coastline of Galveston Bay, wetlands and wildlife and bird sanctuaries. Runners can participate in a single race or enter one of the challenges by finishing two races.

6. Texas Flying Legends Museum will launch five World War II Warbirds from Ellington Field on Sunday, March 14 for a 2,200 mile journey over the ocean to perform at the 2015 St. Barth’s Bucket Regatta on the French collectivity island of Saint-Barthelemy. They will join forces during their travel with four additional Warbirds from Lewis Air Legends of San Antonio to form the largest fleet of Warbirds to travel oversees since the war ended. This majestic collection of Warbirds is scheduled for flight at 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 15.
