Get ready to taste comfort classics like meatloaf and chicken fried steak, alongside soulful Cajun staples like etouffee or gumbo.

Magnolia Cajun Comfort is a proud, family-run restaurant and a product of an amazingly talented partnership. Chef Steve Haug brings 25 years of experience to the kitchen, 18 of which where he was the Executive Chef of the famed Del Frisco’s. You may know Desiree Burleigh as the owner and operator of Jax Burgers in Pearland, but as a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, she’s ready to bring her Cajun roots to Pearland.

Once you arrive, you’ll head over to the counter and place your order with one of the friendly staff members. We recommend starting out with Fried Green Tomatoes or the Crawfish Pies, an empanada-styled pie filled with crawfish etouffee. For lunch, you can’t go wrong with a sandwich and soup combo, like the Po’Boy with Chicken and Sausage Gumbo, or the Boudin Grilled Cheese with Texas Chili and Jalapeno Cornbread. Stopping by for dinner? Get a taste of the comfort side with Chicken and Dumplings, or a bite from the Cajun side with the Fried Shrimp and Catfish Platter.
