Pearland resident and owner of Dionisio Winery, Jimmy Aranda, plants the Third Annual Wine Festival in Pearland on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 4070 Wells Drive. The daylong event celebrates wine with tastings from award-winning Texas wineries, live music, delicious food and unique vendors. The outdoor festival kicks off at noon and lasts until 8 p.m.

Originally conceived to showcase Dionisio Winery in mid-town Houston, the festival quickly outgrew its footprint and has found a new home in Pearland for 2014. A few of the featured wineries will include – Los Pinos Ranch Vineyards, Red 55 Winery, Maydelle Country Wines, and Haak Vineyards & Winery in addition to Dionisio Winery.

Pearland’s own Longhorn Steakhouse will be one of the highlighted food vendors offering a unique twist on their menu items. Thermal Fusion will provide the musical backdrop for the day. An eclectic mix of retail vendors will be on-site with unique gift items.
