Pearland's LIT Java Honored with Texas Travel Award

LIT Java Coffee and Books in Pearland has been recognized by the Texas Travel Awards as a must-visit Under the Radar Activity in the state of Texas! The Texas Travel Awards celebrate standout destinations and experiences in the Lone Star State, and the selected winners reflect a dedication to creating exceptional experiences.

Spearheaded by two friends with a passion for books, LIT Java opened its doors in April of 2024 and has since built an
extensive calendar of events including writing workshops, book club meetings, open mic nights, author meet-and-greets, and more.

The only business of its kind in Pearland, LIT Java has become both a local watering hole and a tourist destination,
drawing visitors from across the region for their events, their cozy coffeeshop vibes, and to shop from their special
collections including Banned and Challenged, Local Lits; highlighting area authors, and their themed children’s section.

LIT Java is a BIPOC, veteran, and women-owned and operated haven for bookworms, coffee lovers, and art
enthusiasts alike. The team uses books and coffee as the catalyst to connect a diverse community of readers, learners, and
coffee connoisseurs through curated literary experiences.

The business is also a Pearland Sip and Save Trail location, offering special discounts to visitors registered for the digital passport, and supports tourist-friendly events across the city like the Pearland Boutique Shop and Hop.
