King's Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest Pearland Celebration October 5 – 7

Father-son duo Hans and Philipp Sitter are lacing up their lederhosen for their seventh annual Oktoberfest celebration at King’s Biergarten, 1329 E. Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Simultaneously the duo is also preparing for the second annual Oktoberfest at King’s BierHaus, 2044 E. T.C. Jester, Houston, Texas. The Sitter Group throws a bigger and better celebration every year.  King’s Oktoberfest remains the fall event that guests look forward to every year with whimsical enthusiasm.

King’s Biergarten will kick off the festivities with a massive three-day extravaganza from October 5 – 7 in Pearland.  Two weeks later, King’s BierHaus will celebrate in the Heights from October 19 – 21 with a celebration similar to the original, Pearland event.  The Sitters will also give away two free trips for two to Oktoberfest 2019 in Munich, Germany.  One trip will be awarded on October 7th in Pearland and one on October 21st at the BierHaus. The Grand Prize includes flight, hotel, Oktoberfest tent reservations, and a personal tour guide.  King’s will select 10 finalists each evening of the festival and will draw for the grand prize at 7 p.m. each Oktoberfest Sunday.  Guests must be present to win.

On tap, King’s will feature the largest selection of Oktoberfest bier in Houston including: Franconia Oktoberfest, Paulaner Hefeweizen, Hofbräu Oktoberfest Marzen, Warsteiner Oktoberfest, Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest, Hacker Pschorr Munich Gold, Hacker Pschorr Munich Dark, Hofbräu Oktoberfest Weis’n and Paulaner Oktoberfest.

Oktoberfest Tickets

Tickets go on sale and can be purchased on King’s Oktoberfest website.  Ticket options vary from Weekend 1, Weekend 2, or both King’s Oktoberfests and are available in either general admission or VIP offerings.

General admission tickets are $10 for single day pass and $20 for a weekend pass. For the extreme “Oktoberfester”, a double weekend pass is only $30.

Special Oktoberfest Events

Special events taking place as part of the weekend include the Ceremonial Keg Tapping, Bavarian Strongman Competition, arm wrestling, an Oktoberfest photo booth, a beer pong competition, shopping with local vendors and craftsmen (Heights location only), and adult carnival games like Bavarian bull riding, and cornhole.

Kings Oktoberfest Pearland

On the all-important food side of things, King’s will offer a variety of wursts, smoked ribs, eight-hour roasted turkey legs, German chocolate cake, and much more. Austrian-German bands Enzian Baum will perform in Pearland and Chris Rybak Band will be performing live in the Heights throughout both weekends.

Kings Oktoberfest

A portion of proceeds from this year’s Oktoberfest festivities will benefit The Sitter Foundation, which supports families who have experienced sudden tragedies.  The Sitters launched the organization shortly after Hurricane Harvey.

King’s Oktoberfest at both locations will be chock full of festive offerings, including the centerpiece Oktoberfest tents, amazing eats, delicious German bier, games, and additional entertainment for the whole family.  The Oktoberfest festivities in Pearland and the Houston Heights represent King’s unique take on Oktoberfest, the 16-day festival held in Germany that has been part of Bavarian culture dating back to 1810.
