ACC Theatre presents The Big Friendly Giant at Alvin Community College Theatre on Tuesday July 23 to Thursday July 25.
The Big Friendly Giant and a little orphan named Sophie have to save the children of England from child-eating giants like Bloodbottler, Fleshlumpeater, Bonecruncher, and Meatdripper in this stage adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic book. Filled with humor and a delightful use of nonsense language, this endearing play combines fantasy with the modern world to tell a story of empathy and heart.
This is the final production of their 39th Annual Summer Children’s Theatre Festival. This production is rated G. Tickets are $3 in advance and $4 at the door.
