DICK’S Sporting Goods celebrates the grand opening of their new Pearland Town Center location from Friday, April 21 through Sunday, April 23 at the 11200 Broadway Street location.

As one of six new locations opening around the country, the grand opening of DICK’S Sporting Goods in Pearland gives customers a chance to win great prizes throughout the weekend and meet special guests including former Houston wide receiver Andre Johnson and former Houston forward Robert Horry.  Wristbands are required for special appearances available on the day of the event.

“We look forward to celebrating the grand opening of six new stores in four different states,” said Lauren Hobart, Executive Vice President & Chief Consumer and Digital Officer, DICK’S Sporting Goods. “Having an expanded presence in these cities will allow us to better-serve the athletes and outdoor enthusiasts who live there. We hope these communities join us for the celebrations that we have planned.”

The Pearland location is also hosting a free, playoff watch party on Sunday, April 23 from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot.  Fans can watch Houston in the playoffs on a jumbotron with free food & drinks, live DJ, face painting and more.  The first 100 fans get a free, DICK’S Sporting Goods camp chair to watch the game and then take home.
