Restore the Depot
The Citizens Advisory Committee to “Restore the Pearland Depot” in conjunction with the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Pearland Historical Society are embracing this project to preserve and restore the historic Depot. The goal is to transform the depot into a museum with interactive curation and exhibits about the history of Pearland and the railroad. Ultimately, the restored Depot will provide educational opportunities, community interaction, historic preservation and the creation of an attraction for visitors and residents.
Help Us Restore the Depot
This Railroad Depot has been sitting vacant since the hurricane of 2008 and is in need of restoration and preservation as one of the City’s oldest historic sites. Help us restore the Pearland Depot by donating to personalize your very own brick or bench. The donations will be used to restore and preserve the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railroad Depot on Liberty Drive in Pearland.
