The Visit Pearland Cultural Arts Grant Program provides funding from the hotel occupancy tax fund for projects that support cultural and fine arts in Pearland, Texas.
Visit Pearland has managed the grant program since 2013 with past projects supported including the Puranava Indian Culture Festival, Pearl Theater productions, Pearland Lunar New Year, and Fusion of the Arts.
“The Pearland Cultural Arts Grant Program is an investment in our community,” said Tracy Rohrbacher, Visit Pearland executive director. “Through our support of arts-driven tourism, Visit Pearland invigorates the city’s economy and empowers artists; enriching our cultural landscape.”
The application period for the fiscal year 2026 program begins September 8, 2025 and runs through October 20, 2025. Grants will be awarded in early December.
Proposed programming must occur between October 1, 2025, and September 30, 2026 in order to be considered eligible for a matching grant. This timeline marks the beginning and end of the city’s 2026 fiscal year.
Nonprofit organizations located within the city limits of Pearland are encouraged to apply and must meet eligible criteria to be considered. Funding is limited to a $6,000 maximum grant application.
