The City of Pearland has promoted Tracy Rohrbacher from Marketing Manager to Executive Director of the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB).
Rohrbacher brings to the position 22 years of marketing and event experience with various organizations, with the last seven years dedicated to the Pearland CVB as a Marketing Manager. As the Executive Director of the CVB, Rohrbacher will be responsible for increasing tourism through long-term strategic planning in the City of Pearland.
“Tracy has been an invaluable contributor to Pearland tourism through thoughtful and engaging events and strategic marketing plans” said Deputy City Manager Jon Branson. “While searching for a permanent replacement Mrs. Rohrbacher selflessly stepped up to act as the Interim Director and it became evident over the course of interviews that the perfect candidate was already in the role.”
Rohrbacher has certifications in tourism and destination marketing from the Texas Travel Industry Association, the Certified Tourism Ambassador Program, and the Texas Association of Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The mission of the CVB is to grow the local economy by attracting visitors to the City through marketing and tourism promotion.The Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau is funded by the hotel/motel occupancy tax fund.
