The Houston Metro Go Texan – Alvin/Pearland Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is gearing up for its annual Cars & Cowboys Car Show. The event will be held on Saturday, August 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pearland Town Center, 11200 Broadway Street, Pearland, Texas 77584 in the south parking lot near Dillard’s.

The FREE, family-friendly event will offer:

• 30+ Car and Truck Classes;
• Entertainment;
• Kid’s Zone with face painting, photo booth, & games;
• Concessions and “Mouth Watering Brisket” prepared by the HLS&R Committee Cooking Team;
• A Service Personnel Appreciation Ceremony to Honor our Local Police, Fire and EMS Professionals;
• Lots of Great Vendor Booths;
• Awards for all Car Classes;
• Automated and Expert Judging for Efficient and Accurate Results of the Car Show, and;
• Free T-shirts and Goodie Bags to the First 75 Car Show Entries;

Car show registration and check in is from 9 to 11 a.m. Net proceeds from the event benefit the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
