Artists and art aficionados, you won’t want to miss this.
Pearland’s annual arts and culture event, Pearland Art on the Pavilion, returns for its ninth year under the Pearland Town Center Pavilion on Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15 for a full weekend of unique finds, talented artists, and live entertainment.
“We’re already seeing a surge in interest from new artists outside of Pearland,” said Tracy Rohrbacher, executive director of the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau (PCVB). “We’re also thrilled to have returning artists who’ve been with us since inception. Alongside the new elements we’re adding, this year is going to a great show.”
The PCVB organizes and executes Pearland Art on the Pavilion every October when the Southeast Texas heat begins to dip. The event is free to attend and highlights handmade artwork including paintings, pottery, photography, woodwork, and much more.
Each year the show assembles an extensive collection of regional and local artists who specialize in handcrafted pieces and artwork. The official call for artists is open at VisitPearland.com/ArtShow and applications are being accepted for the juried art show through August 11, 2023.
In addition to shopping for one-of-a-kind gifts and décor, the event will also feature live music from Houston-area performers, local food trucks offering a range of delicious eats, and a variety of family-friendly activities centered around the arts.
