If you haven’t noticed, Pearland has gotten a little more delicious with the opening of Boiling Dragon earlier this year. From Catfish Baskets and Boiled Snow Crab, to Gumbo and Peking Chicken Baos, local chef Hardon Wong is bringing the heat.

After opening his second restaurant in the past year, joining his Japanese restaurant Ginza, Chef Wong combined his experience working at acclaimed restaurants like Uchi, The Fish, Bovine & Barley and Rose Gold to slay the seafood game on how he sees food. Tasteful flavors of Asian cuisine combine with elements from across America. Boiling Dragon has something on the menu for everyone—and you’ll want to try it all.

Menu items

Starting off with appetizers, nicknamed Munchies, the Firecracker Shrimp is sure to blow you away with tempura fried shrimp tossed in Korean sweet & spicy aioli topped with scallions. Or take a trip up to the Northeast with a bite of the Chowder Fries. Or, the New England style clam chowder with bacon and scallions over a bed of crispy french fries.

For the star of the show, you can’t go wrong with any of the boiled seafood served up by the pound with craveable flavors like original, garlic butter or thai basil with your choice of spiciness level. Add on a potato, corn, and sausage to the mix for the ultimate feast.

If fish and chips is more your seafood style, then you’ll love any of Boiling Dragon’s baskets featuring catfish, tilapia, shrimp, chicken wings and even oysters served up with french fries. And we’d be remiss to mention the scrumptious bao creations like the Crab Daddy or Lil Miss Piggy, where the delicious flavors of the Boiling Dragon are served up in a steamed bun.

So if you haven’t stopped by yet, dine-in or takeout at the Boiling Dragon for a unique dish served up by Chef Wong and his team. To stay up to date with all things Boiling Dragon, including updates on their off-menu specials, follow them on Facebook.
