The city of Pearland has hired Sara Peters to fill the newly created role of Arts Administrator on the Visit Pearland team. With a distinguished career in arts advocacy, public art installations, and community-driven cultural initiatives, Peters brings a wealth of experience and creative vision to her new role.

Visit Pearland led the development of the city’s first Cultural Arts Master Plan, aimed at enriching community life and boosting tourism. As Arts Administrator, Peters will play a crucial role in guiding and implementing the plan’s objectives, shaping the city’s creative and artistic future.

Peters has been a driving force behind numerous successful art and cultural events, and is a passionate advocate for public art, earning her the designation of State of Texas Arts Advocate and is the designing artist behind notable public art installations in the Houston area. Peters work encourages reflection and unity through visual storytelling.
