Visit Pearland has a long history of showcasing local artists of all styles and mediums in support of the city’s arts and culture footprint. Expanding on that support, the city’s destination marketing organization invites artists to apply for inclusion in the new Visit Pearland Artist Roster, a pre-qualified directory of artists considered for public art projects including an upcoming relaunch of the popular PearScape Program

There is no application fee, and the directory is now officially open to submissions.

Celebration Pear at Zychlinski Park in Pearland.

Who should apply:

  • Artists interested in public art commissions, collaborations, and sponsor partnerships.
  • Professional or emerging artists with experience creating durable, outdoor-ready work.
  • Artists residing in the Greater Houston area or nearby regions (Pearland residency not required).
  • Artists who would like to share their information and be a part of the collective art community of Pearland.

The application is hosted via Submittable and will require a free account to apply. Artists will be considered based on their submitted work and area of interest, and submissions are reviewed by the Visit Pearland team.

Examples of projects and programs supported by Visit Pearland include the Pearland Mural Tour, Pearland Grand Arts & Eats, and the prominent PearScape Trail.

Pearland is proud to be a dynamic cultural destination where creative experiences and public art distinguish our community identity, create experiences that surprise and delight both visitors and residents, and contribute to economic growth. The reimagining of the PearScape Program will expand the trail across the city and showcase more artists than ever before.
