Tracy Rohrbacher was promoted to the role of Visit Pearland Executive Director in August 2020. After spending over 22 years in marketing and event management at various private sector companies, she transitioned to the public sector in 2013 as the Visit Pearland marketing manager. Rohrbacher strives to build partnerships that will highlight Pearland as a destination and lead to healthy, positive impacts for the city through tourism. She also oversees the organization’s marketing, sales, and promotion strategies. Rohrbacher enjoys connecting with local partners to showcase the many unique things for visitors to discover in Pearland. A native Texan, Tracy and her husband enjoy catching live music at historic dance halls and searching for flea market finds during her time away.

Teri Mazhar, Sales Manager

The Visit Pearland team gained Teri Mazhar as the Sales Manager in October of 2020. She brings over 20 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, previously serving in a leadership capacity as a Senior Catering Sales Manager for hotel properties in the Houston area. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Science from Southeastern Louisiana University where she played softball, and has experience that spans an array of hospitality venues. Mazhar applies her love for softball to her work with sports tournaments at local fields and facilities. She has a passion for travel and lives in Pearland with her husband and their cat, Rani.

Rebekah Burns, Marketing Manager

Rebekah Burns joined the Visit Pearland team as the marketing manager in June of 2021. She has a blended background in local journalism, entertainment writing, and destination marketing in the Gulf Coast region. She attended the Art Institute of Houston’s Digital Filmmaking and Video Production program, and graduated with her Bachelor of Applied Technology from Brazosport College. Burns as a passion for supporting locally-owned businesses, cultivating Pearland’s Film Friendly program, and promoting Pearland as a foodie hub here in the Houston area. She spends her free time trying new restaurants, reading and watching movies at home with her husband and their dog, River Song.

Leonor Castillo, Office Assistant

Leonor Castillo joined the Visit Pearland team in July 2022 as a part-time office assistant. Prior to working with the City of Pearland, she worked in Houston where she gained over a decade of office administration, accounting, and the client experience which she now harnesses in her work for Visit Pearland. She has a passion to serve her church and the community, and she volunteers with various ministries that provide aid across the Houston region. Leonor resides in Pearland with her husband, son, and their pet, T-Bone.
