The 6th Annual Wine & Food Festival will be held in Pearland on Saturday, September 30 from 12 noon to 8 p.m. at the Pearland Town Center, located at 11200 Broadway Street, Pearland, Texas 77584.
Dionisio Premium Wines, the hosting winemaker for this year’s festival, is pleased to announce that the festival will feature multiple local Texas Wineries, local food vendors and 30+ additional craft and specialty item vendors for shopping.
This year, the event will feature a chef’s corner and bring in celebrated chefs to conduct food & wine recipes & pairings.
The Pearland Wine & Food Festival is pleased to welcome Chef Francesco Casetta this year. He is scheduled to recreate tantalizing dishes from Italy (Florence, his homeland). Chef Casetta is a world decorated chef, who has been commissioned to create meals for dignitaries as well as celebrities such as Sting, Carlos Santana and Bruce Springsteen. Casetta was formerly with Italy’s Del’Pescatore Restaurant of three Michelin fame as well as Florence’s L’Incontro at Hotel Savoy. Currently, he resides in Houston with his business, Casetta Catering, with his wife, Rebekah.
“We are so thrilled to bring the flavors of the world to this year’s festival….and we are also looking forward to giving back to a good cause, Yellow-up”, Jimmy Aranda/ Owner of Dionisio Winery.
This year, a portion of all ticket sales will benefit YELLOW UP, a 501C3 not-for-profit organization who’s mission is to provide financial aid, emotional or physical needs to our youth cancer warriors and their families. We seek out the needs of youth warriors and their families and deliver those needs on a personal level. “ We give gift cards, care packages, meals, social outings and/or support to families that have had their child diagnosed with cancer”, said Cindy Canas, President/Founder of YellowUp. Canas started the organization back in 2011, when her daughter was diagnosed with cancer and looked for a support organization to help related to her situation. Now, they are a growing organization with a mission to help one child (warrior) at a time.
Tickets available on Eventbrite. This year, the festival will also feature a VIP experience ticket $100 early bird pre-sale/$150 at the event, which includes a lounge, wine, small bites and a dessert island.
“We are looking forward to another wonderful wine festival & invite everyone to spend the weekend in Pearland to enjoy all that the city has to offer,” Aranda said.
