Presenters are scheduled in one-hour time slots throughout the day, culminating in the presentation of the juried art show awards beginning at 6 p.m. In addition, the talented Pear-Scape artists will attend to receive a special acknowledgment from the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau and the PAA&C.

Children and families delight in the elaborate costumes and musical instruments from around the world!

The Pearland Arts League’s 7th Annual Juried Exhibition has been expanded to include submissions of paintings, mixed media and 3D works and photography.  This juried show is quickly becoming one of the most popular shows in the area. Co-Chairs, Margo Green and Michael Slattery are pleased to announce the juror for this show will be international Sculptor and Painter, Lori Betz.  Ms. Betz has studied at the University of Texas and abroad in Japan, Greece, and Italy. She returned to the US in 1995 and opened Betz Art Gallery in Houston.  Her sculpture of the “Allen Brothers” is permanently installed in front of Houston City Hall. Ms Betz also created a series of bronze dancers featuring soloists from the Houston Ballet.  The Pearland Chamber of Commerce also has Ms. Betz’ work on display.

Don’t miss this opportunity to sample Pearland art and performances, all in the cool comfort of the elegant Refelction Bay Event Center.
