Rodeo Houston at NRG Park near PearlandThe Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo officially announced its concert lineup for the 2019 season. More than half of the performers are newcomers to the rodeo with veterans returning to the stage including Cody Johnson and Old Dominion.

“Though the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo remains deeply rooted in country music, we are also proud to be a part of our wonderfully diverse community,” Joel Cowley, rodeo president and CEO, said in the release. “As such, we are excited to present a wonderfully diverse and talented 2019 lineup that will welcome 12 newcomers to the rotating stage.”

Tickets will go on sale Thursday, Jan. 10 at 10 a.m. through AXS Ticketing via rodeohouston.com. The AXS Ticketing online waiting room will open at 9:30 a.m., and customers will be randomly selected to enter the store at 10 a.m.

Rodeo Houston is held at NRG Park which is only minutes from Pearland. As one of the one of the most-attended events in Houston, Rodeo Houston draws several visitors to Pearland hotels as well with easy access to NRG Park just off Highway 288. Millions of people enjoy the rodeo for the barbecue cook-off, carnival, rodeo competitions, livestock auctions, art auctions and several other activities, but its concerts gain the most attention.
