Pearland Cultural Arts Grant Program

Pearland-based non-profits specializing in the arts are invited to apply online for the fiscal year 2019 Pearland Cultural Arts Grant.  The program is managed by the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau and provides funding from the hotel occupancy tax for projects that support cultural arts in Pearland.

“The Pearland Cultural Arts Grant Program has played an integral role for the arts in Pearland and supports our mission to position Pearland as a destination,” according to Kim Sinistore, executive director, Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Applications are due by August 27, 2018 for the Pearland Cultural Arts Grant Program and awarded in October.  October marks the beginning of the new 2019 fiscal year for the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau.  Grant applications will include programming to occur between October 1, 2018 and September 30, 2019.

Non-profit organizations located within the city limits of Pearland are encouraged to apply and must meet eligibility criteria to be considered. Funding is limited to a $6,000 maximum grant application.  Applications are available online, visitpearland.com/fy19-culturalapplication

About Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau

The Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau is a division within the City Of Pearland, City Manager’s Office. The role of the Convention & Visitors Bureau is to promote and coordinate tourist related activity within the City of Pearland. To accomplish this mission, the Convention & Visitors Bureau is responsible for the promotion of hotel rooms and convention attendance within the City; works with tourist related organizations within the City to coordinate marketing, advertising, promotion and programming; works with State and regional organizations which are responsible for the promotion of the region, and works to coordinate activities within City Government which directly or indirectly impact tourism.
