This year’s Pearland Art & Crafts on the Pavilion promises shoppers another year of unique finds created by local artists including abstract art, handcrafted jewelry, pottery and more! The FREE, juried art show is presented by the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau. The popular event returns on Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Pearland Town Center.

Located at the intersection of Highway 288 and Broadway/FM 518, the Pearland Town Center is the perfect backdrop for a mix of artists and entertainment.

Tommy Lewis | 10:30 a.m.

Tommy does a lot of things and he does them all well. The sought-after songwriter, guitarist, poet, and producer has worked with and learned from the best, including Radney Foster, Jimmie Vaughan, and international award-winning songwriter, artist, and poet Chad Elliott. He infuses his music with jazz cadence and cool, breathing new life into the genre.

Grifters & Shills | 12:45 p.m.

John and Rebecca Stoll met at a classic rock/blues jam. They discovered a magnetic chemistry that not only revealed itself in music, but in all aspects of their relationship. Rebecca’s east Texas vocal stylings, combined with John’s formidable guitar work, created Grifters & Shills lonesome heavy-metal sound. An all-original album is due out in November 2019.

Brightwire | 3 p.m.

Brightwire combines elements of folk, rock, country, and punk. Samuel Barker, vocals/guitar, came up through the Houston Americana/Alt Country scene. While Kimberly Barker, vocals/organ, honed her vocal chops as a member of various choirs. Brightwire weaves tales of lives lived in our world today. Their music is about inclusion and letting others know they are not alone.

Sunday

Wendy Elizabeth Jones | 10:30 a.m.

Wendy is a soulful Texas singer/songwriter with an Americana flare. She crosses genres offering a taste of Rock ‘N’ Roll, Motown, Country, Folk and Blues. Expect a lively energetic performance whether you catch her in a solo show or with her full band. Wendy has lived and performed all over the country, she is currently based in Houston her hometown.

Angie Emerson | 12:45 p.m.

Angie plays multiple instruments including the flute, guitar, baritone ukulele, banjo, saxophone, mountain dulcimer, and harmonica. She is also a talented singer/songwriter and is currently wrapping up her first album, Eclectic Souls. Angie is inspired by classic rock, pop, Americana, folk and southern genres.As an event coordinator, she books and hosts singer-songwriter shows in the Houston area.

Twisting Tides | 3 p.m.

Randy Wade and Jeremiah Marichalar, performing as Twisting Tides, are an impressive multi-instrumental duo. They play seven genres of cover songs plus original music. In 2018, as Slave the Verb, the duo was nominated for two musical awards. Twisting Tides has performed for the Houston Astros, Crystal Ballroom, and held the stage Thanksgiving Day at South Shore Harbor Resort.

Kids Station

Fun, keepsake interactive art will take place at the Kids Interactive Art station offering FREE activities for the kids. Global Organization for Divinity will offer a fun, activity on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Keep Pearland Beautiful will host activities on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
