Applications are now being accepted for the fiscal year 2018 Pearland Cultural Arts Grant program administered through the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau.  The Pearland Cultural Arts Grant Program provides funding from the hotel occupancy tax for projects that support cultural arts/fine arts in Pearland.

“The Pearland Cultural Arts Grant Program is vital to supporting arts in Pearland. We recognize the important role arts plays in tourism and our overarching goal to position Pearland as a destination,” according to Kim Sinistore, Executive Director of the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Under Sinistore’s direction, the Pearland Cultural Arts Grant Program was revamped to an online application submission process with applications due by September 1, 2017. Applications are reviewed and awarded during the month of October.

Non-profit organizations located within the city limits of Pearland are encouraged to apply and must meet eligibility criteria to be considered in the application process. Funding is limited with the maximum grant application awarded at $5,000.
