Frontier-Day-Poster-9Alvin’s 41st Annual Frontier Days Celebration sponsored by the Alvin Rotary Club runs Thursday, April 23 through Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Downtown Alvin near City Hall at 216 W. Sealy Street.

The festival begins on Thursday with the opening of the carnival at 5 p.m. which includes a variety of rides, games, and vendors.

Friday Frontier Days includes a Crawfish Boil in the old Downtown Alvin area around City Hall plus a crawfish eating contest and live entertainment by the Zydeco Dots band.

Food vendors will be located in the Downtown Alvin area on Friday and Saturday.  Arts and Crafts booths will be set up in the old Downtown area and booths on Friday and Saturday. Other Arts and Crafts vendors will be set up in National Oak Park, but will only be open Saturday.  Food vendors will also be open in National Oak Park on Saturday.

A full parade will take place on Saturday with entertainment in the Downtown Alvin area to include live performances by Jerry Deleon and South Band, the Jackson Avenue band and La Calma band.
