Radhe Radhe Dance Ballet flyer AGlobal Organization for Divinity will present an Indian classical dance ballet titled “Radhe…Radhe…– A Story of Love for the Supreme” on March 15, 2014 starting at 4:15 pm at the CA Nelson Auditorium located at 2337 N Galveston Ave, Pearland TX 77581. The presentation will be in commemoration of the fourth anniversary of the organization’s prayer house, Namadwaar, located in the Pearland/Manvel area, and is supported by the City of Pearland Convention and Visitor’s Bureau through its cultural arts grant.

The dance ballet will depict – through the popular Indian classical dance form of Bharatanatyam – the divine love of Princess Radha, a goddess in human form, who in ancient Indian scriptures, stands for the epitome of devotion to God. The performance will weave an English narrative with numerous Indian classical songs to tell the story of Princess Radha, whose love for Lord Krishna, an incarnation of the Supreme God, is held in high esteem even today by millions of devotees around the world. Radha is considered a ‘supreme secret’ in Indian scriptures – meaning she is one who is not easily understood by a lay person, and yet she reveals herself readily to a person with true devotion.

This unique dance ballet is sure to delight the audience with its musical as well as visual grace and beauty. Tickets can be purchased at events.sulekha.com. Sponsors are welcome. For more information about the program or for tickets, call 281-402-6585 or 281-303-5828.
